Useful information to prepare your trip to Toulouse

Travel information

By airplane:

The International Airport of Toulouse-Blagnac is just 10 Km. outside the town.

AIRPORT – CITY CENTRE CONNECTION:

• - Airport shuttle: From 05h00 to 00h15. leaving every 20 minutes. Approximately 20 minutes to the city center. 4 different stops. Price: approx. €5. More info.
• - By bus: Line 66 (Toulouse St Cyprien - Toulouse Blagnac Airport), then subway (line A). Price: approx. €1.60. More info. Do not buy a week pass (or any other pass) when arriving in Toulouse, a free transport pass (offered by the city) will be given to you the first day of the conference.
• - By taxi: Approx. cost airport-city centre: approx. €20.

By Train:

The Toulouse Matabiau station is located downtown and has its subway station (line A).

By road

From the motorway "Paris-Bordeaux", follow "Foix-Tarbes" direction; you are on the ring. Take Exit 27 "La Cépière". Follow "Cugnaux", then "Les Pradettes" and "Météo-CERFACS". From the motorway "Montpellier-Carcassonne", follow "Aéroport de Blagnac" (airport sign). On the ring take EXit 27 "La Cépière/Cugnaux" and then, as above. From the airport, A taxi can drive you to Meteopole in about 15 minutes. It should cost around 25 €. You can also take the airport shuttle to the stop "Allées Jean-Jaurès" downtown, and then the underground (see below).

By underground

Take the subway (line A) to the last stop "Basso Cambo", then catch a bus on line number 8, check that the direction at the front of the bus is "Cité scolaire Rive-gauche", then get off at stop "METEO-FRANCE". Here is the bus timetable. There is a departure from the subway terminus every 10 minutes on rush hour. A subway+bus ticket will cost around 1,60 €. From "Gare Matabiau" to Météo-France it takes around 35 minutes.
